| Harvest Festivals | The London Pearly Kings & Queens Society's Harvest Festival |
The London Pearly Kings & Queens Society Costermongers Harvest Festival Parade Service This event takes place on 26th September at Guildhall Yard starting at 1.00pm with traditional entertainment before a parade down to St Mary-le-Bow Church for the service at 3.00pm. This is attended by many Mayors, Donkey's and Carts, Marching Bands and of course the Pearly Kings & Queens and many other colourful characters. All the offerings are donated to the Whitechapel Mission. The Events Officers are Larry & Doreen Golding Pearly King & Queen of the Old Kent Road. |
This is held at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden on 10th October. We start gathering at 10.00am for the service at 11.00am. We have the Pipers to start the event. The produce is donated to St Martin's-in-the-Fields Homeless Centre |

| We are collecting at Polhill Garden Centre on the 10th/11th April, 22nd/23rd May, 7th/3th August and 23rd/24th October. | We are collecting at Morrison's Store, Stratford on the 30th/31st Jan, 27th/28th March, 29th/30th May and 27th/28th November. |

| We collect at Covent Garden on the 3rd weekend of every month on both the Saturday & Sunday between10.00am until around 2.30pm. | We are at The Museum of Kent Life, Cobtree Farm, Sandling, Maidstone Hop and Beer Festival on the 11th/12th September from 10.am until 4.pm where we will be having a stall and a sing-a-long on both days. Lots for the family to do and see. |

| We also collect at Cheshire street/Brick lane on the First Sunday of the Month between 10.00am until around 2.30pm. | Some of us attend the Lord Mayor's Show which is on the 7th November this year. |

| Pearly Kings & Queens attend the Service at St Paul's Church, Covent Garden. This starts about 11.0clock for 2 minutes silence on the 14th November. | You can sometimes find the pearlies at the pub after every collection days when in Covent garden why not pay a visit for a good old slap up meal. You can find the pub at the corner of DRURY LANE & LONG ACRE LANE |

| The Society has its own entry for the New Year's Day Parade. This starts at 12.0 noon from Piccadilly (near Green Park underground). | |

| On the 25th November we help the Mayor switch on the Christmas Lights and enjoy the festivities of stalls and shops funfair and fireworks lots of things for the family. | |
